Also called sclera tattooing, colour is injected into the white of the eye for a permanent, otherworldly look. It is one of Lily Lu's specialities, with well over a decade of experience since the very early days of the technique. Safe in truly experienced hands but high-risk otherwise; she prefers unique mixed colours over plain black, and only tattoos eyes on people who are already heavily tattooed and modified.
A tongue split (bifurcation) divides the tongue into two separately controllable halves — a striking, classic modification in the body-mod world. It is done under careful, sterile conditions, and once healed many people regain a surprising amount of independent movement in each half.
Scarification is the practice of cutting designs into the skin so they heal into raised, textured scars — one of the oldest forms of body art, with roots in tribal cultures around the world. At Psyland it ranges from bold, graphic statements focused on the intensity of the experience to fine, detailed motifs made for their healed result. Nikolas also does large skin removals (peeling), where areas of skin are carefully removed for a stronger relief.
Body suspension is the ritual of hanging the body from hooks placed through the skin — a practice with deep roots in North American and Indian tribal traditions. It ranges from gentle first suspensions to complex poses, always guided step by step. For many it is less about the body and more about the experience: presence, endurance and letting go.
Ear pointing reshapes the top of the ear into a pointed "elf" tip, while cropping resculpts the ear's edge. Both are surgical-style modifications that give the ear a permanent new silhouette, done in careful stages with proper aftercare.
Subdermal implants sit fully beneath the skin, healing into permanent raised shapes, ridges and textures — from small beads to larger sculpted forms. Placed through tiny incisions by an experienced artist, they become smooth, three-dimensional art living just under the surface.

A rare, ritual tattoo session with Lily Lu — the last form of tattooing she still does. Tattooing the places most artists won't touch — ink worked into spots like the fingernail, tongue, lip and even the uvula. A rare, extreme specialty done slowly and carefully by Lily Lu, only on people who are already heavily tattooed and modified.
Also called stick-and-poke: tattooing entirely by hand, dot by dot, without a machine — the oldest way to tattoo, with deep roots in traditional and tribal cultures. It's a slower, quieter, almost meditative ritual that gives soft, organic lines and ornamental dotwork with a character all their own.
Branding burns a design into the skin — with heated metal (strike branding) or a fine electrocautery tip for more control and detail. As it heals it forms a raised scar, related to scarification but with its own distinctive look. An intense, permanent modification, best suited to people who already know how their skin scars.
Stretched, split or blown-out lobes can be rebuilt: the thinned or torn tissue is trimmed and stitched back together layer by layer into a solid, natural-looking lobe — a clean reset that can even be re-pierced or re-stretched once it has fully healed.
Advanced ear work, from "coin slots" — a cut through the earlobe wide enough to pass a coin through — to partial or full removal of the outer ear. These are serious, irreversible modifications, reserved for experienced and heavily modified clients.
